Decorwave

2.5 mm thick multi-layered decorative floor realized by applying a series of self-levelling epoxy coatings and colored stuccoes and backed by glass and quartz fiber mesh. Following hardening the surface is protected using a glossy, mat or satin surface. All products used are solvent-free.

Note: The use of RESICOL 160 is recommended with weak and crumbling floor foundations

DECORWAVE represents the combination of “nice and resistant” because it brings together the solidity of multi-layered epoxy floors which have been used for many years and are well-tested, with the art and customization typical of spatolato. 6 workings are necessary for this type of floor:

• two smoothings with epoxy self-levellings which include a glass fiber mesh. They are then quartz saturated to establish the anti-wear layer;
• three layers of colored epoxy stucco which are spatula applied in order to achieve real decorative coating;
• one or two layings of protective polyurethane film to increase surface resistance and make cleaning and maintenance easier.

DECORWAVE is usually made of two colors, bottom and glazing: the latter is applied so that the bottom color is visible and to achieve the cloud aspect which is typical of this floor. This does not preclude the possibility of having an even color if the spatula workmanship effect is the only effect to be enhanced.

The finishing is done with water polyurethane varnishes: RESICOLOR 473 is for a mat or satin effect, RESICOLOR 474 for a glossy effect.
