Wall waterproofing: is the traditional remedy effective?
In most cases, wall waterproofing work is done through bituminous sheathing in roll form, which with its constant thickness protects surfaces from infiltration and absorption of water or other liquids.
That of laying sheathing is a job that is done quickly and the result is effective, but not always durable: these coatings can in fact puncture, leaving water a chance to get in without getting out and thus seep into walls.
And there is another problem: in this case the infiltration is not easy to detect, because this often does not coincide with the point of deterioration of the sheathing.
