Our materials are designed for strength, durability, and a unique design touch, adapting perfectly to the needs of project implementers.
Black tri-component thixotropic solvent-free mortar with shrinkage reducing admixtures, epoxy and polyamide-resin based. Mixed with selected hydrocarbon resins, mineral fillers with particle size distribution and several additives.
• High mechanical compression strength and shock resistance;
• Excellent weather resistance and good waterproofing;
• High adhesion to dry and damp concrete (with prior application of specific primer);
• Excellent resistance to alkali, saline solutions (especially de-icing salts), sewage, oils, fats and lowconcentration acid solutions;
• Good workability using standard working tools;
• To be used with support temperature from +5 °C and +30 °C;
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Compression strength (1-day cure) | > 45 N/mm² |
| Compression strength (7-days cure) | > 60 N/mm² |
| Shore A hardness (only A+B) | 92 |
| Shore D hardness (only A+B) | 48 |
| Adhesion (dry concrete) | Cohesive break of the substrate |
| Adhesion (damp concrete) | 3 N/mm² |
| Density | 2.01 kg/dm³ |
| Mix ratio A + B + C | 100 + 200 + 1470 |
Preparation of the foundation
The surface to be treated must be clean, whole, dry and mortar grout and crumbly part-free: ideal adhesion is achieved by roughening it with sandblasting treatment followed by thorough suction.
On dry concrete use RESICOL 115 epoxy primer. Use also on reinforcement rods if they are
exposed. On damp concrete, asphalt and bitumen, use RESICOL 116 epoxy primer.
Concrete must be fully cured (28 days).
Preparation of the product
Pour component B into component A and blend at slow speed for 3’ – 5’ using drill with helix/spiral; during this operation, scrape also the bottom and the sides of the bucket, then slowly add component C (inert) and blend until an even and lump-free mixture is achieved.
Application
Apply the mortar on the primer, layer upon layer, within the times of use (see table) with trowel, palette knife or suitable tool based on the type of work to be carried out.
RESITAR 30 M can be applied with high or low thicknesses with no hardening or shrinkage problems.
Notes
Packages are weight pre-measured out: fully use all three components A, B and C.
If you wish to divide the package, products must be weighed by respecting the A+B+C ratio on the label and must not be
weighed out based on the volume.
When mixing, the reaction between the two components starts: the time available is limited and it depends on temperature.
| Temperature | Pot-life | Hardening |
|---|---|---|
| 10°C | 80 min | 8 h |
| 20°C | 40-50 min | 6 h |
| 30°C | 25-30 min | 4 h |
Complete hardening is achieved after 7 days.
Consumption
Primer RESICOL 115 or RESICOL 116: 0,4 – 0,6 kg/m²
RESITAR 30 M mortar: in order to fill a volume of 1 dm3 2 kg of product are necessary.
Packaging and storage
Available in 22,50 kg packages (A + B + C).
RESITAR 30 M remains unaltered for a year if stored in dry and sheltered place at a temperature between +10°C and +30°C in its original sealed containers.
• Filling of voids created on motorways between expansion joints and asphalt;
• Restoration of blanket (to repair holes, cracks);
• Filling of prefab element joints;
• Creation of bases for machinery;
• Creation of even planes to place machinery, sheaths, joints, tracks, etc.;
• Filling with a certain thickness for the creation of new slopes.
