Antimix
3 to 5 mm changeable antistatic multilayered floor realized with a series of solvent-free epoxy self-levelling layers alternated to layers of conductive and semi-conductive charges. They are fit into the copper conductive straps to aid mass discharge of buildups of electrostatic energy.
Finishing is achieved thanks to smoothing with colored epoxy compound.
Areas of use
Antistatic flooring is used in those situations were protection from concrete needs to meet good electric conductivity in order to disperse built-up static electricity in the environment:

Features
ANTIMIX disperses build-ups of electrostatic energy thereby reducing the risk of discharging electric charges to the ground which are dangerous both for people and because of certain substances (solvents, explosives, etc.). The specific smooting support used and the filler ensure an even electric dispersion on the whole surface instead than on certain points. The copper conductive strips which are fit into the conductive epoxy layer and connected to the grounding wire aid conveying and ground discharge of electric charges. Furthermore, ANTIMIX offers an excellent protection to concrete because if fulfills all the requirements of industrial floors:
- Continuous, waterproof, colored coating with no expansion joints
- Excellent mechanical resistance to wear and abrasion due to vehicular traffic
- Good resilience features (resistance against impact of projected objects).
- Good chemical resistance thanks to RESICOLOR 421 finishing
- Antiskid surface
- Perfect waterproofing
It can be reinforced with glass mesh for applications on ceramic supports or with cracks or localized restorations of the floor foundations. If high sanitary conditions are required, like in an operating room, the floor may be finished with the extremely reduced thickness film of RESICOLOR 480.
